Learn about global health in your own backyard! CBS Student Services is hosting a site visit to the Community-University Health Care Center (CUHCC), a federally qualified health center and also a department within the University of Minnesota. This clinic offers medical, dental, mental health, advocacy, legal, and other programs to support refugee, immigrant, and low-income populations. Students who attend this site visit will be able to learn about the operations of this community clinic and some of the unique healthcare challenges populations in the Twin Cities Metro face. Additionally, students will be able to speak with different healthcare professionals and staff members who work at the CUHCC.
CBS Student Services will provide transportation via bus to the CUHCC, so registration is required.
