The goal of my research is to develop a general, mechanistic, and predictive understanding of the interactive effects of human impacts on the Earth’s ecosystems. In this work, I use theoretical, experimental, and observational approaches to study basic and applied topics in community and ecosystem ecology including disease, plant and soil microbiomes, plant invasions, and global change.
Research interests
My research interests span a broad array of basic and applied topics in community and ecosystem ecology including the community ecology of disease, biological invasions, and restoration ecology. For more information see my lab website.
