Nature Carts
Station staff, including student summer interns, set up a cart at the Mississippi Headwaters to share information with the public about research activities at the station. Park visitors often notice the sign for the station on the Main Park Drive and are curious to learn more about what goes on there. We plug into the State Park’s Nature Cart program, which aims to share “five facts in five minutes”, an informal opportunity to connect with the public.
